Acceptable use policy
What you can and cannot do with SlideClone: remix formats with your own product, never re-upload someone else’s content.
Last updated September 3, 2026
The one-line rule
Use SlideClone to remix a format with your own product. Do not use it to republish someone else’s content.
Allowed
- Taking a public carousel as a reference for structure and pacing.
- Replacing the subject with your app, service or brand.
- Uploading your own photos and screenshots as the source.
- Editing the adapted text as much as you like before rendering.
Not allowed
- Downloading the original slides to repost them. The product does not hand them over and never will.
- Passing yourself off as the person or brand behind the reference.
- Reproducing logos, trademarks or recognisable faces from the reference. When a slide shows a person, we always swap them for someone else.
- Cloning content involving minors, sexual content, misleading health claims, or anything otherwise banned by the platform you intend to post on.
- Automating bulk account or post creation with the output.
What we do
Every slide you receive is newly generated by an image model: the original file never leaves the pipeline. People are always replaced. We keep the reference only as long as needed to process your project.
Complaints
If you believe a user has posted something that infringes your rights, write to legal@slideclone.com with the link and a description. We respond to well-founded complaints by removing the material and, where appropriate, closing the account.
Consequences
Breaking this policy can end in immediate suspension with no refund of consumed quota.
